Delhi - Mathura - Vrindavan - Agra
Morning pickup from your desired location in Delhi and then drive via the express highway to the sacred towns of Mathura and Vrindavan.
On arrival check-in at the hotel. Afternoon sightseeing tour of Mathura. Visit Shri Krishna Janm Bhumi, Vishram Ghat, Dwarkadhish Temple, Gita mandir, Nidhivan, Seva Kunj and Banke Bihari Temple etc. Overnight stay at hotel in Mathura.
Mathura a little town, the birth place of lord Krishna is popularly known as Braj – bhoomi, where Lord Krishna was born. It is 155 km away from Delhi and situated on the river Yamuna.
Vrindavan, a village – once noted for its fragrant groves, is where he spent an eventful youth. There are numerous other little spots in the area that still reverberate with the enchantment of Shri Krishna.
Next morning, proceed towards Agra, the city of Taj Mahal. Enroute visit Fatehpur Sikri, a historical city which houses many forts and palaces built by Mughal Emperors. Continue driving towards Agra. On arrival, check-in at your hotel. After having some rest, in the evening you can explore the majestic beauty of Taj under the magical effect of sunset. Overnight stay at hotel.
Early morning you’ll be picked up from your hotel and will take you to visit the Taj Mahal again at sunrise. Come back to the hotel for breakfast. Later proceed on a guided tour of Agra fort (UNESCO World Heritage Site), built by Emperor Akbar in 1565 A.D, this huge fort is made of red sandstone. The maze of the courtyards, mosques and private chambers of the fort echo the story of the Mughal Empire.
You may also visit Itmad-ud-Daulah or “Baby Taj”, Akbar Mausoleum. After visiting the places in Agra, you will be driven back to Delhi where you will be dropped off at the airport or your hotel.
